Why Mini Mermaids

Mini Mermaids is a Nottingham based Mermaid school, who aim to give children and adults the ultimate mermaid experience, allowing them to channel their inner mermaid. The small team ensures quality instructing and carefully planned sessions and parties. The instructor’s passion to allow everyone to experience what it’s like to be a mermaid in a fun and interactive way is at the core of the business.

The Mermaid Experience

Mini Mermaids offers children and adults the opportunity to channel their inner Mermaid or Merman by putting on a Monofin and skin and tailing away. The experiences last around 1 hour and will take place either as a 1-2-1 session or a small group session. Read More

Mermaid Swim Test

All Mermaids and Mermen must pass the Mini Mermaids swim test to be able to experience the Mermaid world. The swim test includes:

Minimum age of 6 years old
Swim 25m comfortably
Be able to submerge your face fully whilst swimming
Be able to tread water in both shallow and deep water
Be able to lift your knees and turn 360° in both directions
Be able to demonstrate a basic dolphin kick of 5 metres.
